Hilarious video: Liddell busts Tito’s chops, Twitter war breaks out

See, it was a brilliant move to give Chuck Liddell an office in the Las Vegas headquarters of Zuffa. The new Vice President of Business Development can act, book the biggest and best for mega-fights and if you need someone KO'd in the break room, he's still got it!

This is funny stuff from Liddell and the UFC. The best line comes from Liddell "conversation" with Tito Ortiz.

"I'm not sure Ortiz-Machida II is what the fans want," Liddell said. "Ain't happening Tito, no one likes you."

To no one's surprise Tito tweeted that the acting sucked.

Dana White chimed in later to try and calm down Ortiz.

Ortiz replied with a "thanks" and then Tito's wife Jenna Jameson got wind of it this morning. Look out!

Then DW flipped on Jenna.

Liddell also knocks out a co-worker for several slips of the tongue. He reminded us of Mike Tyson in The Hangover (NSFW).

MMA Marketplace: Randy Couture’s last stand

If he is to be believed -- and I believe him -- this weekend, we will see Randy Couture fight for the final time. That means it will also be the last time he has a walkout shirt. Behold, the final Couture walkout shirt:

It's a typical Randy shirt. Not in my taste, but ... OK. It's ugly. I like the chevrons, which are a nod to Couture's service in the Army, but that's about it. UFC 129 has 55,000 seats sold and fans are still clamoring to get in

Tom Wright, the UFC Director of Canadian Operations, revealed Wednesday that a few hundred more seats may be made available for UFC 129 later this week. How many tickets does Canada need? Wow! The crazy Canadian fans blew out 42,000 seats at the Rogers Centre in record time and then quickly scooped up an additional allotment of 13,000. That means the only way to get into the giant baseball/football stadium now is the secondary market.

Seat Geek gave Yahoo! Sports these notes on the current ticket situation:

- Tickets are averaging $336 for the sold out event.
- This is a 25% increase over 128 in Newark which averaged $270.
- The "get in" price for UFC 129 is $111 for tickets in the mezzanine.
- Seats by the cage are going for up to $5,000

The Toronto Globe and Mail says the overall economic impact of UFC 129 in town could be huge. The Toronto Star's Cathal Kelly is on the other side telling fans don't bother. He can't fathom paying $800 to see a fight.

UFC 129 weigh-in: Shields unfazed by pro-GSP crowd

If the weigh-in is an accurate gauge of how fired up Canada is for UFC 129, tomorrow night at the Rogers Centre is going to be ridiculous.

A crowd of well over 5,000 jammed the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto, to watch the 24 fighters weigh-in.� Only Ben Henderson had difficulty, missing the lightweight limit of 155 pounds.

Main event fighters Georges St. Pierre (169.5) and Jake Shields (169) were on the money and then cordial during quick conversations with UFC analyst Joe Rogan. Shields was greeted with loud booing as he walked out, on the scale and on the microphone.

"I'm bringing the belt home with me. People can boo all they want, but it's me and Georges in the cage," Shields said. "It's gonna be an all-out war, one I'm going to make you remember."

The amazing Randy Couture came in well under 205 pounds at light heavyweight. The 47-year-old was 203.5 pounds and even looked confident despite having martial arts legend Steven Seagal staring over his shoulder. Seagal, the action film star, accompanied Lyoto Machida to the stage.

In the buff, with a towel draped in front of him, Henderson tried two times to reach 156 pounds. Ontario officials then asked for the booming music to be turned down. The official working the scale said the music was making the instrument vibrate and move. Henderson stood on the scale one final time and hit 156.5 once again. He'll have an hour to lose that half-pound. He meets Canadian Mark Bocek on the pay-per-view portion of the card.

UFC 129: Vladimir Matyushenko Knocks Out Jason Brilz in 20 Seconds

by Michael David SmithJason Brilz waited 11 months to return to the Octagon after losing a razor-close split decision in his last bout. This time he lasted just 20 seconds before Vladimir Matyushenko knocked him out at UFC 129.

Brilz had gained a great deal of attention from UFC fans for the way he handled that tough decision loss to Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in that bout in May of 2009, but this time around he simply had no answer for Matyushenko, who came out like a buzz saw from the start.

Matyushenko landed a right hand to Brilz's chin, followed by a left hand that sent Brilz backward to the canvas, and then three more right hands on the ground before Brilz went out.
