Eat your heart out Seagal: ?Butterbean? has his own cop reality show

Eric "Butterbean" Esch, looking for a way to parlay his fighting fame into a new arena, may have found it with his new reality show on Investigation Discovery.

On "Big Law: Deputy Butterbean," Esch is a police officer in Jasper, Alabama. The 300-plus pound Esch rose to prominence as the king of the four rounders in boxing. He eventually transitioned over to mixed martial arts where he fought 26 times. At 44 years old, he last fought in May and scored a KO victory. The new show debuts on Aug. 9.

Butterbean joins MMA character Steven Seagal on the police reality show scene. Seagal never officially fought MMA, but the seventh degree black belt in Aikido and action movie star, is also featured in a reality show about the police called "Steven Seagal Lawman" on A & E.
